The Flesh Hungry Dog Show books a variety of different types of acts including bands, burlesque, magicians, commedians, novelty performers and …well, anything that we think our audience might be interested in and entertained by. We like to live up to our reputation as the most diverse scene in Chicago. Why should my band play The Flesh Hungry Dog Show?
Submissions
Please submit all booking inquiries via email. An electronic press kit, link to a website or a myspace page is perfect. You can email submissions to Mr. Airedale at gthomasward at gmail dot com. Please allow a week or two for a reply to all submissions. If you don’t hear from us after a week, please follow up via email.
I’ve been booked to play…Now what?
All bands are expected to do their part to promote the show. The Flesh Hungry Dog Show expects you to put up at least 20 posters (which we provide at no cost to you) and to promote via Facebook and your email list.

My band is coming from out of town, where can we stay?
There is actually a bed and breakfast hotel above Jackhammer (same owner) called The Ashland Arms. They have special rates for bands that represent a major savings off their regular rates. One room is $79 a night — 2 people max. If more than ONE room needed, each room will be $69 each. Book online and mention the rate in the comments section!
There’s another place about 1/2 mile or so from Jackhammer called The Heart O’Chicago, if you’d rather check out another place, but I’m pretty sure the accommodations at the Ashland Arms are much nicer.
